V2 Cigs Pro Series 3

best dap pen is the v2 series 3 vaporizer

The V2 Pro Series 3 Vaporizer Is A 3 in 1 Vape Pen but be Warned... You'll Need Accessories.

Decent Vaporizer for $60 but not our favorite beginner vape. If you're a beginner we recommend the Pulsar APX (also a 3-1 vaporizer but of a much better quality. See our entire reasoning behind loving the Pulsar APX on our homepage).

V2 Cigs are trying to position themselves in the market with the Pro Series 3 as the one stop for shop for all your vaping needs. Throw anything at it, dry herbs, e-liquids, waxes and oils, the V2 Pro is supposed to be able to handle it. But is this really the case?

Is it trying to bite off more than it can chew and become a gummed up mess? In our full review below we go exactly through the testing to find the V2 Series 3 is really worth they hype (it's not in our opinion).

The V2 Pro Series 3 Design

best dap pen

The V2 Pro bucks the trend by using a magnetic coupling for its body, which really speeds up the ease and efficiency that is required to use its assorted accessories. The accessories are the key behind the unit being able to vape multiple materials such as oils, waxes, and herbs. Thanks to the magnetic design, the attachments easily bond with the main body but this has a bit of a downside to it.

Warning: The affordable price you pay for this pen and the fact that is has strict brand parts (not interchangeable with other brand add-ons) restricts the accessories that you are able to use with the V2 Pro. Not using the standard threading system like many other companies means you are forced to turn to V2 Cigs for all your accessory needs.

The good news is that they are not outrageously priced and we are glad to see that V2 have not tried to alienate newcomers and longtime fans by jacking up the prices for these accessories.

V2 Accessories

Loading up on cartridges for your e-liquids will run you $8 and herbs and oils containers are around $25. The e-liquid cartridges will only cost you $8 while the ones for herbs and oils will run you $25.

There is a very subtle look to the vape pen which comes in many colors, at a passing glance you just might mistake it for a regular expensive writing pen.

If you like to be discreet with your vaping and not attract attention then this will be just right for you.

v2 Series 3 wax pen vs size of your hand

With its unassuming pen profile and its small size you can maintain a level of stealth between your sessions, this fades away if you’re packing dry herb cartridges though as these are larger and will give you away.

A Snap to Use... Really

We’re not sure how much more we can express just how easy it is to use this V2Pro vaporizer. Switching between and taking hits of different material only requires a simple attaching of the magnetic accessories. After you’ve done or seen it in action you won’t have any struggles.

There’s more to the attachments than just being able to use different material. V2 popped on some extra features that enhance the experience of the unit. With the e-liquid attachment you get a handy light feature that makes vaping in the dark a cinch, and try as you might, you won’t get it to leak. This makes it perfect for on the go sessions.

Hitting the power button will get you started and ready to take hits of vapor soon after. There’s an auto shut off feature that kicks in after 10 seconds on inactivity, handy for saving battery life and you can turn the unit off yourself with 3 quick hits on the power button. You’ll need to do this again if during your session the auto shutdown happens.

Quality Performance

If there’s one thing we hate, it’s being forced to wait for charging to be complete before we can continue vaping. Thankfully the V2 Pro avoids that setback, it packs a long cord so it can be easily used freely while being charged.

Our tests revealed that getting a fully powered battery took around an hour and a half, while going from 100 to 0 takes about half the charging time. The verdict on this is that it’s awesome as a portable vaping tool but if you want all day performance then you’ll need to look somewhere else.

Now onto the meat of the review. A vaporizer that isn’t able to provide a quality vaping experience is quite frankly, just not worth it. The V2 Pro can hold its head up with pride as it performed excellent in our testing. With each hit we took we got thick puffs of vapor and this remained consistent from a freshly packed bowl to remains of the session.

Note: It does have a small bowl so you have to pack every 5-6 hits. That is the only downside but is also to be expected in a portable vape pen.

Decent Option but not our #1.

V2 Pro Series 3 Vaporizer

An issue for some might be that we found the draw to not be as smooth as we would have liked. It’s possible that this was a design element to make using the vaporizer similar to using a cigarette but next to other vapes and e-cigs, the tightness when drawing is noticeable.

V2 Pro Series Review Conclusion:

At the end of our testing we are pleased to say that this is one capable little guy. It talked the talk, but backs it up by being able to do so many things well. The vapor that’s produced is consistently high quality regardless of your material preference. E-liquid cartridge capacity is pretty okay as well at 1.6ml. It’s not the biggest size but for the majority of vape enthusiasts it will be fine.

The reason this is our not the best dry herb vaporizer on our list is simply the fact that you'r locked into always buying accessories from V2 for the life of using this vape. Other models are equally inexpensive and we have found perform even better. (see our main listings on our homepage).

Girl using V2 PRO Series 3

  • Vapes anything you throw at it
  • Good vapor quality and consistency with any materials.
  • Well-made and designed vaporizer
  • Great price and value throughout.

  • Tight drawing
  • Not the best battery life we've seen
  • Limited to V2 attachment

There are no glaring issues that stop us from recommending this anyone looking for a new vape pen and if you are looking to try out more types of material then this vaporizer is a perfect addition. We would recommend the PULSAR APX over this model in all honestly (in the same price range) but that is our preference.
